Restaurant Review

This week, I ate lunch outside at the Plaza at Park Grill (the food was okay) and visited the new modern wing at the Art Institute with my husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law. The best part of the beautiful new addition is the view from the restaurant Terzo Piano. (see photo above)We had drinks and dessert (chocolate semi-freddo with Spanish peanut nougat and caramel, which is like a frozen mousse). It was so good that I plan on going back for lunch.

Southport Green Market

I plan on making my way to the Southport Green Market on Saturday, while my husband rests for the marathon. (at Southport and Grace) It sounds like the market is a mixture of food/arts and crafts. I am hoping to find this jewelry maker.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo is a great free thing to visit this summer in Chicago. Check out the calender of events here. I think I might run the 5k United run for the zoo this weekend. (you actually get to run through the zoo and you get a Nike Dri-fit shirt)

24th Annual Printers Row Book Fair

Just a reminder that the book fair is coming up on June 7th and 8th on Dearborn and Polk. More info here. (I think I might go on Sunday.)
Also, there is yoga every Saturday at 8am in Millennium Park throughout the summer and it is free.
