Legally Blonde: Part II

Bailey won the role of Elle Woods last night on Legally Blonde the musical :( She is good, but Autumn had the amazing, goose bump inducing, Broadway voice!!! (even the director said she sang the best) But, I understand Bailey looks more like the part.

So... I have been watching the reality TV show on MTV to find the next Elle Woods and I really want Autumn to win. (the finale is next Monday) My husband also informed me that the musical is coming to Broadway in Chicago next year. (replacing Wicked)

DIY headboard

Do you think I can do it??? It seems easy enough... here is how. I am thinking of buying a cheap headboard from Ikea and then recovering it in either white or red.

Ikea's summer sale is going on this week and we have a painter in our condo.... so I may be making a trip today!

we are having our bedroom painted Blue Mesa tomorrow! (check out the color here) I would really like to get a red headboard but I don't want to pay $300.00 at target. (I might try to make one.... I remember seeing an epsiode of Trading Spaces years ago when they made a headboard like the one above.)
