The Chicago Tribune has an interesting
article on being middle class and the wide range of people who believe they fall into this class. Working in an environment with different races of low class students in 2 different towns has opened my eyes to major differences in class. (especially how different classes value money and education) Ruby Payne's book
"Framework for Understanding Poverty" is a great book to help start understanding what it is like to be from a different class.

Do you know which day the article was in the paper? I'd love to copy it for my students.
