I tend to find a lip color and then I wear it for years. My average is about 5 years and then I switch to a new color. While the lip glosses listed below are more expensive than drugstore brands, I find if I can try them on before buying, I actually spend less money overall.
Here are my current favorites:
Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips in Dolly: I received a free sample of this lip gloss at Sephora a few months ago and I have been using it ever since. It tastes like vanilla and it make your lips tingle... my husband doesn't like this feature.
Chanel lip gloss in Spark: I have worn this for 8 years.
(the picture looks very pink but it is the perfect red)
Other favorites include:
- Clinique Different Lipstick in Angel Red (I wore this for the pictures at my wedding with Spark)
- Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (I wore this during the reception with Spark)
