I was in Target yesterday and came across a black cuckoo clock for $24.99 (I could not find it on their web page, but I did find this one) available in white too

Barney's Warehouse Sale

I have always heard how great this sale is so when I was in NYC last week, I decided to enter. I immediately elbowed my way into the shoe section and I spent an hour trying on Manolo's Louboutin's, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and many others. All of the shoes looked used because they were thrown into big bins for sorting sizes. The cheapest pair of shoes that I saw were still over $100.00. (most were $200.00 - $400.00) The Manolo's that I loved were still $300.00.... so I decided not to get any shoes because if I am going to spend that amount I want them to be new. The clothing was also overpriced and many things I found had holes and were marked "as is." I checked out Barney's online sale and found some of the same shoes that were at the warehouse... so I recommend looking at the online sale because the items will be new and you can return them. I felt like I found better bargains at Century 21 and Nordstrom's rack for designer clothing at reasonable prices.

Sixteen

I visited the new Trump tower in Chicago and ate at Sixteen (which is on the 16th floor and I blogged about here). I ordered the Turkey burger and it was great! (the view of the city and the service was also the best) I recommed at least going into the lobby and using the bathroom because the building is amazing.

Painting

I have been painting our condo for the last few days because we are putting it on the market soon. (we found a place we want to buy) After I finished painting the bathroom, hallway, and kitchen I declared to my husband, "I am never painting again!" that is until I saw this watch.... maybe I will paint the family room so that I can get this watch instead of hiring someone.

Berry chill

I finally waited in line at berry chill this week and it was very good. It tasted just like pinkberry but they had more toppings to pick (like Girl Scout cookies, fruit, and cereal.) Next up.... king cafe (low calorie ice cream) and Trump Tower's Sixteen.
