TGIF
My weekend includes:
- picking up this book at B & N and reading it
- trying on these shoes from Target (the reviews online say they are comfortable)
- cleaning my makeup brushes and jewelry (I have not done this in months)
- going out to eat with my sister-in-law's family (trying Rosebud Trattoria) We tried Scoozi! a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised.
- seeing the Chicago River turn green
- finishing season 6 of the Sopranos
- watching Rachel Getting Married

boyfriend jeans part 2:
Remember my post about Katie Holmes and rolled jeans here? Well, this trend is growing on me.

A couple weeks ago I tried on the following jeans at Nordstrom and JCrew. I recommend that everyone should do the same. Why? Because they are all comfortable, flattering, and run large. (I would be lying if I didn't say that it was nice to try on a size 27 and have it fit) I am still deciding which pair to purchase or I might just make my own with an old pair of jeans.

leather jacket + floral dress
I immediately loved this look when I saw Nicole Richie sporting a little leather jacket over a floral maxi-dress. Here is a cheaper version from the new Tracy Feith line at Target or try this dress at JCPenney.

Turquoise Buffet
I was reading one of my favorite blogs today and came across this picture from Morgan Harrison. I obviously love the farm table, chandelier, fresh flowers, and white chairs, but the light turquoise buffet against the grey wall caught my eye.

more mirrors

This over sized driftwood mirror is beautiful - it is also nice in a starburst mirror and fireplace mantle
(similar mirror at target)
(similar mirror at target)(Leviton porcelain lamp holders - and they are under $3.00)
Here is a similar mirror, but I like the one hanging in Atlantis Home's living room.

Ikea
I like a store where you can get an ice cream cone,
hot dog, and bed.

Mirrors
I have been having the itch to get something new to hang above our bed
(right now we have this mirror that I want to move to the entryway)
See this blog post from Things That Inspire for my inspiration.
Here are a few I have in mind:
This is my favorite because it has a vintage look
and could be used in many different rooms.

(this one is expensive $$$)
constellation mirror from chiasso (this is a much cheaper option)
